ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain patient confidentiality.
2. Provide comfort measures to patients and family members (pillows, blankets, etc.)
3. Relay messages from staff to family members.
4. Restock supplies
5. Run errands to other departments within WHC.
6. Clerical tasks when requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience and Education
- Should be healthcare based or have a demonstrated interest in pursuing a healthcare field
- BLS certification (CPR) is recommended but not required.
2. Physical Demands
- Free of significant lifting restrictions.
- Must be current on all immunizations and free of communicable disease.
3. 18 years of age or older.
Volunteers are required to make a minimum of a semester commitment.
