Who We Are

Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation (NEICAC) is a private, non-profit community action agency that was incorporated on July 13, 1965.

We are locally controlled and represented by the private, public and low-income sectors of the community.

MISSION STATEMENT

Through dynamic partnerships, quality family services, advocacy and education, NEICAC advances community development and improves social and economic conditions for individuals and families with limited resources.

Create inclusive communities with equitable access to resources and opportunities where all individuals and families thrive.

What We Do

NEICAC provides the support and resources to improve the stability and quality of life for individuals and families with limited resources.

We assist those living in the NE Iowa counties of Allamakee, Bremer, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Howard, and Winneshiek with programs serving in all stages of life, including: Family Services, Crisis Program & Food Pantries; Head Start & Early Head Start; LIHEAP & Weatherization; Affordable Housing; EARL Public Transit; Child & Adult Care Food Program; Family Development & Self Sufficiency (FaDSS).

NEICAC provides assistance to those who need it the most. Our work enables individuals and families in NE Iowa to live, work, and contribute to their communities.
