Friends of the Family is looking for an individual interested in a weekly volunteer opportunity. Starbucks in Waverly provides a weekly food donation to Friends of the Family. We give this donation to both our housing and crisis services clients.
Due to the fire that disrupted the use of our Waverly building we are looking for a volunteer willing to pick up the donation from the Waverly Starbucks and driving it to our Waterloo building. At drop off the volunteer will weigh the donation so we are able to report the amount to Starbucks and also work to put the donation away in our fridge and freezers.
This is a wonderful way to support FOF clients and keeping us connected to the community support of the Waverly community!
